Sparta, Laconia is an area of unspoiled and nature-blessed land, bathed in the sun and protected by the surrounding mountains. It produces „cold-pressed olive oil of the highest category“ with a harmonious, fruity and sweet taste, obtained from selected olives. The result is an ideal combination between two excellent Greek varieties, „Koroneyki“ and „Athinoelia“ and is considered by many experts to be one of the best olive oils in the world.
The product is certified for a Protected Geographical Indication (P.G.I.) and reflects the distinctive qualities of Sparta, the region in which it was produced.
